For the past several years Maui Wowi has been making smoothies for the 3,000+ emoloyees of Lenox Hill Hospital, part of the North Shore LIJ system. The Lenox Hill folks put on a huge party complete with music and great food – including BBQ chicken we look forward to every year (our reward for making smoothies for them!)
Maui Wowi does smoothie events — as well as shave ice, espresso and hot cocoas — for employee appreciation events in companies large and small. Hospitals are one of our favorite event types – the cross section or nurses, doctors, administrators, maintenance staff and all the other folks who make a 24/7 place tick is invigorating.
